Hollywood News staff are on Christmas break, so that means no news will be posted this week. We will be back on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. Thank you and have a happy new year.
Be safe, no drinking and driving.
Melanie just won a $5 Million dollar recording contract and to film a Pepsi commercial. She was very emotional during her final performance singing the song that helped her with her audition. Congrats to Melanie from the Hollywood News Staff. Josh was second and Chris Rene was third place, but that's not the last time we'll see them.
Tonight is the finale of The X-Factor!! So who do you guys think will win the $5 Million dollar recording contract, Josh, Chris, or Melanie? Tune in tonight to find out on FOX at 8PM PST. We will announce the winner soon.
Leigh Steinberg -- the sports agent who's repped Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Aikman and Steve Young -- is a wanted man for skipping a court hearing involving an alleged $1.4 million in unpaid rent.
The bench warrant was issued today in Orange County because Steinberg missed his court date last week. According to documents, the super agent inspiration for "Jerry Maguire" owes a real estate company more than a mil for office space in Newport Beach, CA.
The company claims Steinberg stopped paying his lease back in 2009 -- and says it has been next to impossible to serve him with a subpoena because he's constantly surrounded by bodyguards.
Mario Batali's name has been dragged into a sexual harassment lawsuit in New York -- in which an ex-waiter claims the famous chef stood by for months ... while his fellow workers tortured him with butt slaps and masturbation stories.
Eugene Gibbons filed the suit in NY Supreme Court, claiming several co-workers ruthlessly harassed him while he worked at Batali's Babbo Restaurant in NYC -- co-owned by "MasterChef" judge Joe Bastianich.
According to the suit, Eugene's co-workers "smacked his buttocks on a weekly basis," repeatedly grabbed his genitals, and made crude sexual comments ... including one instance when an employee told Eugene he masturbated to Eugene's pictures after his wife went to sleep.
Eugene claims Batali and Bastianich were fully aware of the harassment -- but did nothing to stop it ... the suit claims ... by their inaction the two chefs condoned the campaign of humiliation.
Eugene ultimately quit -- he's now suing his former co-workers and the restaurant for unspecified damages. Batali and Bastianich were not named as defendants.
It's been 15 years since "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" went off the air, but it appears most of the cast members are still friends and actually hang out together.
Will Smith posted this pic of The Banks clan on his official Facebook page, which we're told was taken last week at a luncheon for the charity Sweet Blackberry -- which Karyn Parsons (Hilary) founded.
While Tatyana Ali, some guy, Parsons, Alfonso Ribeiro, James Avery and a pre-bald Smith were all sharing the love, noticeably absent were the two actresses who played the mom/Will's Aunt Vivian.
Some parents just don't understand.
So, there we were ... calling actors from R. Kelly's "Trapped In the Closet" saga to see how they felt about 32 new installments ... when we found out the two main stars GOT MARRIED IN REAL LIFE!!!
Rolando Boyce and LeShay Tomlinson -- who starred as cheating couple Rufas and Cathy in Chapters 1-22 -- fell in love after meeting on the set in 2005 and tied the knot just three years later!
The couple is now raising 4 children together, including 2 from a previous marriage.
As for the original topic -- how they felt about R. Kelly's attempt to make 32 new "Trapped" chapters -- Boyce tells us they haven't heard from the singer yet ... but they're hoping he reaches out.
"We haven't seen Robert in a few years," Boyce says ... "but we'd love to film with him again ... especially after everything that happened to us because of the video."
The Kardashian family is preparing for war -- gearing up to unleash a legal attack on everyone who claimed their clothing line is manufactured in child slave labor sweat shops in China.
Sources close to the family tell us ... Kris Jenner is furious -- claiming the guy who runs the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights had no right to accuse the Kardashian brands of wrongdoing because he has no tangible proof to back up his claims.
Kris must have seen I.G.L.H.R. honcho Charles Kernaghan when he flat out admitted he didn't actually go to the factories in question ... and is making the ASSUMPTION based on years of research on the Chinese manufacturing industry.
Jenner also believes Star Magazine's cover -- which screamed "Kardashian Sweatshop Scandal" -- was not only unfair ... but libelous ... and it should have to pay for any damage that has been caused to the brand's reputation.
Kris -- along with one of their manufacturing companies -- adamantly deny the use of child slave labor in their factories ... insisting they have people who are constantly patrolling for any possible violations.
Adam Lambert says he and his reality star boyfriend have buried the hatchet after their drunken brawl at a Finland gay bar last night ... blaming the whole thing on jet lag and vodka.
Lambert went to Twitter this morning ... and posted a mathematical equation to sum up the last few hours:
"Jetlag + Vodka = blackout.
Us ÷ blackout = irrational confusion.
jail + guilt + press = lesson learned.
Sauli + Adam + hangover burgers = laughing bout it. :)"
Adam and Sauli were arrested for multiple assaults ... but were both released soon after .. and cops now say they will not pursue criminal charges.
